Bicycle wearer manufacturers and pioneers for environmental friendliness in our industry
At Atera, we are actively committed to protecting and preserving our environment. It's important to us not just to write this down, but to live it. Therefore, we were one of the first companies in our industry to implement a comprehensive environmental management system certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001. We have our environmental management system audited and improved annually by independent institutions such as TÜV.

Sustainability goals at Atera
As a manufacturer of bike racks, roof racks, and other carrier systems, we don't want to be hypocritical: Our production consumes resources. However, our goal is to avoid negative environmental impacts and, where unavoidable, to reduce them while continuously evolving. To achieve the goal of a livable environment, we have set ourselves the following interim goals:
- Proactively avoiding harmful environmental impacts in all our activities. This begins with the selection of our suppliers and materials and ends with administrative processes.
- Use of processes with minimal environmental impact.
- Environmentally friendly development of our products.
- Careful handling and use of natural resources.
- Compliance with country-specific legal requirements and environmental regulations.
- Involving our suppliers to minimize environmental impacts.
Through these measures, we aim to make a positive contribution to environmental protection and ensure a sustainable future for future generations. At Atera, sustainability is not just a goal, but a fundamental principle to which we are committed.

All Atera carrier systems are developed in Germany and produced in Europe. In addition to the legal standards, all of our products meet the requirements of the international automotive industry and are therefore at the same level of quality as your vehicle (DIN ISO TS 16949 and DIN ISO 9001). The production of our products also corresponds to the high quality requirements of German and international standards - our products are manufactured according to DIN guidelines (DIN ISO 75302 and DIN ISO 75303). In addition, our production is subject to German environmental protection regulations. In addition, we undergo regular controls to comply with the environmental protection standard according to DIN EN ISO 14001. And now what do you think? Already speaks a lot for Atera as a bike carrier manufacturer, right?
