What is meant by cookies?

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser. They enable our systems to recognise your browser and to offer you various services from our website.

The ‘Help’ menu on the menu bar of most browsers tells you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie or even how to disable all cookies received. However, only through cookies can you fully use some of our features, such as e.g. automatic dealer recognition, and so we recommend that you leave the cookie feature turned on.

We further recommend that, after you have finished using a computer that you share with others and the browser settings on which allow the computer to accept cookies, you always fully log off.
